Michelle Kerney has been an mortgage professional for over 4 years. Her work ethic, adaptability, attention to detail and personal integrity have taken her from the disclsoure desk to managing our processing department. In her spare time, learning other parts of the mortgage industry such as underwriting is her focus.

Michelle is a firm believer that knowledge is power and that it controls access to opportunity and advancement.

Outside of work she is a mother of 3 and takes pride in participating in all of her children’s athletic events. She pushes her children to do their best at all times as she does with herself at work. With the skills and great attitude she possess there is a limitless ladder for her to climb in her future with mortgage lending.

COMPLAINT FORMS AND INSTRUCTIONS MAY BE OBTAINED FROM THE DEPARTMENT'S WEBSITE AT WWW.SML.TEXAS.GOV. A TOLL-FREE CONSUMER HOTLINE IS AVAILABLE AT 1-877-276-5550. 
THE DEPARTMENT MAINTAINS A RECOVERY FUND TO MAKE PAYMENTS OF CERTAIN ACTUAL OUT OF POCKET DAMAGES SUSTAINED BY BORROWERS CAUSED BY ACTS OF LICENSED MORTGAGE BANKER RESIDENTIAL MORTGAGE LOAN ORIGINATORS. A WRITTEN APPLICATION FOR REIMBURSEMENT FROM THE RECOVERY FUND MUST BE FILED WITH AND INVESTIGATED BY THE DEPARTMENT PRIOR TO THE PAYMENT OF A CLAIM.
