David is the proud Father of 2 beautiful girls; Christiana and Shelby. His greatest joy in life spending time with them and sharing in their lives. He also enjoys working out, being outdoors, traveling as well as volunteering where needed.
David Rastetter began his career in the financial field in 1999 serving primarily as a Branch Manager for a National Finance Company. David managed the branch and developed staff to achieve positive results receiving numerous accolades as well as personally originating millions of dollars in real estate transactions. From there David went on to enjoy much success as Mortgage Loan Officer for a local Mortgage Brokers where he learned that being knowledgeable doing what’s best for his client’s needs and setting himself apart through excellent customer service would set him apart from the field, qualities that have stayed with him until this day. In 2006 David’s success in originating real estate loans led him to take an offer with JPMorgan Chase as a VP, where he grew his branches to success in Akron and surrounding areas. After that he was recruited to take on a role to oversee branches in the Akron area for KeyBank as well as leading their business development program for the District. Despite all of his success in banking, David knew that his passion lie with originating real estate loans where he could work with his clients on their schedules and offer them products and services that best suited their interests and needs, not a banks.
In 2013 David came back to his passion of mortgage origination and ever since then he has used all of his knowledge and experiences gained over the years to ensure that all of his clients receive customer service that far exceeds anyone else’s, as well as receiving accurate, knowledgeable information about the mortgage products that fits their unique financial situation. David knows that everyone from the Realtors that send him business to his clients have many choices to choose from, he knows that setting yourself apart by exceeding expectations in all areas of the process, is the key to success. Nothing makes David happier than seeing his client’s faces when they close on their new home.
For a lot of people buying a home can be a daunting process, David prides himself on going above and beyond to put his clients at ease by making sure the process goes as smooth as possible. He also knows his clients are busy with their own families and work schedules and they can’t always make themselves available during the 9-5 day. David through his own personal experiences, is also very aware of the fact that life happens. People get divorced or go through life changing events that can cause them to have less than perfect credit that perhaps causes them to believe that they cannot own their own home.
